The Senate Banking Cmte. voted 16-7 to send the nomination of Ben Benanke to continue as Chairman of the Federal Reserve to the Senate floor. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) announced yesterday that he will place a hold on Mr. Bernanke’s nomination.
